7.6/10 ★★★★★ How we score → Status: active (checked 2026-10-13T19:34:49.904Z)
StealthEX earns its place through asset breadth and a straightforward non-custodial user flow. It is not the cheapest way to trade major coins, and its pricing needs more disclosure than a final receive quote. The conditional KYC policy is sensible from a compliance perspective but important enough that users should not ignore it. For informed wallet users, it is a credible and flexible swap service. Treat every quote as a quote to compare, rather than assuming convenience is free.

What is StealthEX?

StealthEX is an instant cryptocurrency exchange that converts one asset into another and sends the output directly to a user-supplied wallet. It does not work like a conventional trading exchange with a persistent account balance or order book. The service aggregates liquidity from external partners.

In-Depth Review of StealthEX

StealthEX is a non-custodial instant exchange service aimed at people who want to swap crypto without opening a conventional exchange account. It sits in the same broad category as ChangeNOW, SimpleSwap, LetsExchange, and ChangeHero, but its strongest selling point is the depth of its asset catalogue. The service is designed for direct wallet-to-wallet conversions, not for traders who need order books, stop orders, fiat balances, or a polished portfolio dashboard.

The process is familiar if you have used an instant exchanger before. Choose the asset you are sending, select what you want to receive, enter a destination address, and send coins to the generated deposit address. StealthEX routes the trade through liquidity partners and sends the converted asset to the wallet you specified. It doesn't hold a standing user balance, which removes one major risk associated with leaving funds on a centralized exchange.

That non-custodial description needs a little care. Your money is still in transit through addresses controlled by the exchange process, and the quoted rate is dependent on outside liquidity sources. This is not an atomic swap protocol, and it is not a decentralized exchange. Users are trusting StealthEX to execute a conversion honestly and to handle exceptions properly. That distinction matters most during a volatile market or a blockchain congestion event.

Fees are less transparent than I would like. StealthEX presents the amount you will receive before you confirm, which is useful, but it generally does not give a clean, universal percentage fee that can be compared line by line with a spot exchange fee. The spread, partner fee, and network fee can all be reflected in the quote. Fixed-rate orders usually cost more than floating-rate orders because StealthEX is taking on price movement risk for a limited period.

For a small one-off swap, that pricing model is acceptable. The important number is the final received amount, not a marketing claim about zero fees. Compare the exact quote against ChangeNOW, ChangeHero, and a liquid venue such as Kraken or Binance before sending. On common pairs such as BTC to USDT or ETH to USDC, a spot exchange will often be cheaper if you already have an account and can tolerate the extra steps. StealthEX is charging for convenience and access.

The service does better with choice than with price certainty. StealthEX has advertised support for more than 1,400 digital assets, including major coins, stablecoins, privacy-oriented coins, and a long tail of tokens that aren't easy to find at regulated exchanges. That makes it useful for users moving between networks or converting an obscure token. It also creates a practical problem, because support for a token does not guarantee deep liquidity or an attractive quote.

Speed is usually good on liquid pairs. A routine floating BTC, ETH, LTC, or USDT swap often completes in roughly five to thirty minutes once the incoming transaction has the required confirmations. The blockchain is usually the limiting factor, especially for Bitcoin. Fixed-rate orders can take longer to arrange because the system must secure liquidity while preserving the quoted rate. A slow transaction is not automatically a StealthEX failure, but the status page should provide enough detail to show where the hold-up is.

Network selection deserves more attention than the average swap screen gives it. Sending USDT on Tron while expecting an ERC-20 destination, or using the wrong version of an asset, can create a recovery case rather than a normal exchange. StealthEX supports multiple networks for some assets, but users must match the deposit network precisely. The final destination wallet must also support the network and token format selected. A wrong-network error can be expensive, even where recovery is technically possible.

StealthEX's privacy pitch is real within limits. It does not ask every customer to create an account or submit identity documents before a normal transaction. Yet it reserves the right to request verification under its anti-money-laundering procedures, particularly where a transaction is flagged by risk monitoring or a liquidity partner cannot process it. People sometimes describe that as no-KYC, then react angrily when an exception occurs. The more accurate label is registration-free, with conditional compliance checks.

That policy makes StealthEX unsuitable for anyone who needs a guarantee that funds will never be paused for documentation. No instant exchange can credibly give that guarantee while using centralized liquidity and banking-adjacent compliance systems. If a transaction is flagged, support may request identification and information about source of funds. That is a material custody and privacy risk, even if the ordinary flow is smooth. Keep swaps modest and avoid using an instant exchanger as a first destination for funds from questionable sources.

There is no widely known catastrophic StealthEX breach that defines the brand, and the company has been operating since 2018. That is a respectable period for this part of crypto, where short-lived exchange sites are common. Still, its reputation is based more on consistent operation, wallet integrations, and user reports than on the kind of public financial reporting or licensing record that makes a major regulated exchange easier to assess. It is established, not institution-grade.

Support is available through live chat and email, and it is one of the better reasons to choose a recognized instant exchange over an anonymous swap site. In normal cases, the transaction ID and deposit hash give agents enough information to trace a delayed order. The difficult cases are compliance holds, unsupported memo issues, and transactions sent on an incorrect network. In those situations, response quality matters more than a cheerful chat widget, and users should save every hash, screenshot, and quoted amount.

I would not use StealthEX to trade frequently or to convert a large treasury balance. There is too little fee granularity, and the absence of an order book means you cannot control execution as precisely as on a strong centralized venue. But it is a credible tool for a wallet user who needs a broad asset selection, wants to avoid account creation, and understands how addresses and networks work. Its wide catalogue is genuinely useful rather than decorative.

My view is simple. StealthEX is a solid convenience exchange with above-average asset coverage and decent operational history, but it should be treated as a transaction tool, not a bank. Check the receive amount against competitors, use fixed rate only when the price certainty justifies it, and make a small test transfer for any unfamiliar network. For the right user, it is efficient. For a beginner who needs phone support, guaranteed execution, or a clear published fee schedule, it is not the comfortable choice.

How to Use StealthEX Safely

Does StealthEX require an account?

A normal swap can be created without registration. StealthEX may request identity or source-of-funds information if its compliance systems flag a transaction.

How long does a StealthEX swap take?

Liquid swaps often complete in about 5 to 30 minutes after the deposit receives enough confirmations. Bitcoin congestion or a low-fee deposit can make the process longer.

What is the difference between fixed and floating rates?

A floating order settles at the market rate available during processing. A fixed-rate order protects the displayed rate for a limited window, usually at a less favorable quote.

Can I send USDT on any network?

No. You must send the exact network shown on the order, such as Tron or Ethereum. A network mismatch can require manual recovery and may not be recoverable.

How many assets does StealthEX support?

StealthEX has advertised support for more than 1,400 assets. Availability and liquidity still vary by pair and network.

Why can a StealthEX transaction be held?

A hold can occur if risk monitoring or a liquidity partner flags the transaction. The service may then ask for KYC details before it can continue or return funds.
